The Swiss journalist visited our country on May 22-25 at the invitation of RSUH Russian-Swiss Center. In the course of his visit Mr. Chiblit met with Dr. Pivovar and discussed with him ways to further and develop current relations between RSUH and the Swiss Confederation. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Swiss Embassy in Russia.

On May 23 Mr. Chiblit read the lecture preceded by speeches by Dr. Zabotkina who said that it was an honor for RSUH to be receiving a Swiss delegation of such a rank. According to Mr. Chiblit, the only difference between the Russian media market and the Swiss one consists of the larger demand for political journalism in the latter.

Right now the Swiss information agency SwissInfo is dedicated to cover the most important political event in Russia, on the one hand, and curious events considered as “exotic” – on the other.
