On September 6, a traditional initiation ceremony was held at RSUH.
The celebration began with the performance of the Anthem of the Russian Federation and the raising of the State Flag. In his welcoming speech, Acting Rector Loginov emphasized that the faculty saw a unique individuality in each student, and admission to RSUH was an honor to our University, our teachers and confirms the correctness of the students’ professional choice.
"The education that RSUH graduates receive is distinguished by its quality, very serious professional specialization and deep academic foundation. All this gives you a broad socio-humanitarian outlook, which is extremely necessary in today's life”, said Acting Rector Loginov.
As part of admissions-2024, about 4,000 future Bachelors, 400 Specialists and 1,500 Masters were enrolled in RSUH. The parade of international students showed that representatives of 62 countries study at our University: Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Transnistria, Abkhazia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Argentina, Kenya, Mongolia, Sudan, Serbia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Iran, Moldova; in total, students from 38 countries have become freshmen in 2024.
Academic Director of RSUH Efim Pivovar said:
"I want to congratulate you, first of all, on the fact that a new era in your life is beginning. A unique, incomparable student life is something that everyone remembers about their student years. Please be happy and remember this joyful day as often as possible. And be proud today, as you have won by becoming students of RSUH! Congratulations on your victory and good luck to you all!"
The culmination was the student oath and the performance of the student anthem. About 3,000 first-year undergraduate and specialist-track students sang "Gaudeamus" and received a symbolic "fire of knowledge" from the hands of the Acting Rector.
