Creating the future, preserving the past: RSUH participates in the science fiction symposium

On November 4, at the International Science Fiction Symposium "Creating the Future", a discussion "Experience of the past in the contours of the future" was held about the role of the previously created projects and ideas in the scientific and technological development of the country, headed by Evgenia Dolgova, and Director of the Center for the History of Russian Science and Scientific and Technological Development of RSUH.

The Symposium "Creating the Future" will operate November 4 to 6. The event will include 90 sections, round tables and discussions on 6 main tracks: "The Future of Man", "The Future of Technology", "The Future of the Multipolar World", "The Future of Civilizations", "Culture and Art" and "View". The discussions will cover a wide range of topics - from space to family and health, from artificial intelligence and culture to images of the future.

Among the topics there have been the issues of presenting the country's technological experience to a wide audience, popularizing the history of Soviet and Russian science, as well as recording present events for future researchers.

"In order to answer questions about the meaning of the history of science and its role in creating a foundation for the future, as a focal point we should turn, first of all, to the history of Soviet science, the results of which are of particular importance for the present," said Dr. Dolgova.

The Symposium operates on the basis of the National Center "Russia", created on July 1, 2024 by decree of the President of the Russian Federation for the preservation and permanent display of exhibits of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia".
