Seminar “Cooperation between Russia and Switzerland in the sphere of humanities”.With welcoming speeches the seminar was opened by I. V. Karapetjans, international communications pro-rector and Y. Rilander, director Education Department of Swedish University. They mentioned the fruitful results of 7 years of joint activity within the framework of the Russian-Swedish Educational and Research Centre in RSUH. It is already 7 years that this Center functions in our university. It was organized jointly by the Swedish University (Stokcholm), Uppsala University and Geterburg University.Conceived as inter-faculty structure, the center sees its aim the preparation of high-quality specialists in the sphere of history, culture and politics of Switzerland. In RSUH already took place the “Switzerland Days”, several specialized conferences were conducted and numerous round-table conferences took place in RSUH. The first graduation of students not only with a great command of Swedish language, but also perfectly orientated un in Swedish culture, become the result of Center’s work.

In her report Ms. M. Hulberg, attaché on cultural questions of the Ambassy of Switzerland in Russian Federation, pointed out the intensive international exchange, successful publishing projects.
Ms. M. Hulberg also expressed her hope of continuation of mutual cooperation of our countries.
