For the anniversary of RSUH, the Department of Research has summarized the main quantitative indicators of the research activity of RSUH.
Over the years, RSUH has become a leading center of Russian and international social science and humanities. Within its walls were created such academic centers as the Meletinsky Institute of Higher Research in Humanities, Institute of Oriental Cultures and Antiquity, Knorozov Mesoamerican Center, Centers for Typology and Semiotics of Folklore, Study of Religions, Social Anthropology and many others.
RSUH boasts advanced academic schools, seminal academic events are held within its walls, and the results of research and development are widely recognized both in Russia and abroad.
The publication "RSUH 1991-2020: Scientometric Analysis" reflects the total number of publications and the number of quotations in the leading international and Russian databases, the number of publications with the participation of foreign authors, pop science publications for separate years, collections of papers, the academic events in those years, numbers of workers in the R&D field, PhD dissertations, awards, diplomas and grants.
The analytical review was based on the annual reports on the academic activities of the University, provided to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, as well as those presented at the sessions of the Academic Council of RSUH; copies of "Dies Academicus" for 1996-2016, bibliographic indexes, etc.
