On February 5, while effecting a working visit to Russia, Ms. Linde met with students studying Swedish at RSUH and other universities. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Malena Mard, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Russian Federation.
RSUH has been cooperating with Swedish partners for many years through the activities of the Russian-Swedish Center.
Rector Bezborodov emphasized in the welcoming speech that the notion of cooperation was not limited to educational process. RSUH regularly holds joint academic discussions, such as, for example, the discussion on the monograph of the famous Swedish scholar Rolf Tostendahl on professionalism of historians and historical knowledge.
In turn, Ms. Linde shared her impressions of Russia. “I was in Moscow in the mid-80s, as part of a delegation of youth organizations. Since then I have visited many cities of Russia, and I have always been amazed at the warmth with which we are received and the interest that you show in our country and language”.
