RSUH experts discussed cultural interaction between Russia and the UK at the workshop “Russia and Britain – cultural interaction in the 20th century”
Leading russian and british experts took part in the event.
The event was held in November in the British Academy (London) within the framework of the Russia-UK Year of Culture. Dr. Zabotkina, vice-rector for international innovative projects of RSUH, gave a presentation on the topic “The changing cultural practices of the world through the lens of Russian and English languages”. Dr. Shaitanov of RSUH gave the talk “Shakespeare in Russian cultural consciousness in the 20th Century”. Both presentations produced a lot of interest and provoked a hot discussion.
