On November 21-22, a session "Liberal arts cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan: directions and prospects for development" was held at the Center for Eurasian Studies of RSUH and the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. RSUH was one of the organizers of the event.
Vera Khutorskaya, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, wishing them fruitful work and noting the importance of academic cooperation between liberal arts scholars of Russia and Tajikistan in the context of the development of a new system of multipolar international relations. Then the floor was passed to the Rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University Mashrab Faizullo.
The Academic Director of RSUH Efim Pivovar participated in the session "Liberal arts cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan: directions and prospects for development". Dr. Pivovar also moderated a round table of Russian and Tajik scholars and a session of the Center for Eurasian Studies at RTSU-RSUH. He also spoke on the topic "Liberal arts cooperation of the CIS countries: main directions and prospects".

• Professor of the Department of Post-Soviet Countries of the Institute of Eurasian and Interregional Studies of RSUH Alexander Gushchin ("Scientific diplomacy of Russia and scientific and educational Tajik-Russian cooperation");
• Chair of the Department of Modern East and Africa of RSUH Nikita Filin (“Students from Russia and Tajikistan studying in the Islamic Republic of Iran”).
• Director of the Research Institute of the Russian State University of Social Sciences, Professor Olga Lodygina ("History, culture, society in the sphere of academic interests of Russia and Tajikistan");
• Chair of the Department of Modern History of the Institute of History, Archeology, Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Abdullo Gafurov (“Historical memory of the Great Patriotic War in Tajikistan”);
• Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of RTSU Khamid Saidova (“Tajik-Russian liberal arts cooperation: main vectors and possibilities of its expansion”);
• Professor of the Department Foreign Area Studies and Foreign Policy of RTSU Rakhmon Ulmasov (“Labor migration in the context of liberal arts cooperation”);
• Lecturer of the Department of Diplomacy and Foreign Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan of Tajik National University Komron Khidoyatzoda ("The soft power factor in the foreign policy of non-traditional players in Central Asia”).
At the end of the session, a master class was held by Dr. Nikita Filin on the topic of Russian-Iranian relations in modern times, an open lecture "Evolution of National Identity in Turkey" was delivered by Dr. Darya Zhigulskaya and an open lecture was read by Dr. Alexander Gushchin ("Issues of preserving historical memory of the Great Patriotic War and the fight against falsifications of history").
