Modern super-maneuverable warfare very often blurs the line between the front and the rear. This must be understood very well and one should not be surprised by various formats of enemy counteraction.
Today, Western countries are largely going all-in, putting their military, political and economic relations to help Ukraine. I think they were involved in the planning of the offensive in the Kursk region. Today, it is fundamentally important for the West to somehow draw into the conflict not the NATO units, but the armies of the European Union, as if the European Union had any recognizedarmies. Nevertheless, this is being done so that Europeans could be more closely involved in the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine.
This is very dangerous. This must be understood, prevented and counteracted through political and other measures. Which is what the Russian state is, of course, doing very actively.
Against the backdrop of the unwavering financial and military support for Ukraine, it is becoming increasingly clear that the stakes have already been so high that the parties cannot afford to lose.
Therefore, the civic position of Russians and support for the front are extremely important now. Higher education institutions are involved in it one hundred percent. RSUH is currently working to raise funds as part of the campaign "Universities for the Front!"
Over 500 educational organizations have joined this all-Russian campaign, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and launched last spring. To date, over 960 tons of cargo have been transferred to the militaryzone. The entire RSUH team is participating in collecting financial assistance for the purchase of material and technical equipment for our soldiers.
The direct partner of RSUH is the legendary 80th guard reconnaissance battalion "Sparta" commanded by Artyom Zhoga.
RSUH team’s direct assistance to Sparta will, as we hope, help the fighters of this battalion.
But the military also helps us.
Let's not forget that higher education and university professors play a special role in the formation of historical consciousness. Students must be taught to distinguish between facts and manipulation of public opinion, including the formal training in critical analysis and evaluation of various sources.
Modern history must be taught taking into account the events taking place on the front, presenting the facts professionally and comprehensively. And here we need, of course, a serious study of not only the domestic literature, but also the information from the Ukrainian sources.
One of our military battalions handed over to us propaganda brochures and books from Ukrainian national battalions stationed near Volnovakha.
We will translate and carefully study these documents so that our students know what this country has been brought to in recent years.
We consider the defense of our country, the defense of Donbass and the part of Ukraine where the Russian language, Russian culture and many other things connected with Russia are historically immutable, as our responsinility. To this we can and will definitely make our contribution.
