The Expert Council was established in January 2023 and is designed to bring together experts to participate in the selection of burial places located abroad that have historical and memorial significance for the RF, the popularization of the "Russian abroad" and preservation of the memory of outstanding compatriots.
Dr. Khristoforov, a military historian, archivist, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke on the preservation of historical memory.
Dr. Bushuev, Director of the Foundation of the Apostle Andrew, spoke about the activities of the Foundation for the restoration of monuments both in Russia and Turkey, Austria, Switzerland and the positive experience of interaction with compatriot organizations abroad.
