On the 23d of March the presentation of the materials of the international qualification exam «Certificate in Business English (BEC)» took place in the Russian State University for the Humanities.
On the 23d of March the presentation of the materials of the international qualification exam «Certificate in Business English (BEC)» took place in the Russian State University for the Humanities. It was organized by the department of Theory and Practice of translation of the Institute for Philology and History and State Institute for further education and re-education, which opened preparing students for complementary qualification «Translator in the field of professional activity» this academic year.
The event was held by manager of exams office of British Council to Moscow, Tatyana Leonova. At the meeting, an experienced administrator of English language programs for international certificates put in place a set of training materials on «Business English» before the students of various faculties and skills of the RSUH. She immediately attracted the attention of the students to the practical benefit, which they can derive from this application: language experience and competence, that student acquires during the preparation, today are demanded in all the joint Russian companies and firms as an immutable side of the staff's qualifications. In addition, the BEC certificate, received from the successful completion of the program, significantly increases the chances of finding a high-paid work in the labor market.
