The event took place on April 22 within the framework of the project “Other shores” by the Center of Modern Russian Literature of RSUH. The meeting was dedicated to Ms Proffer’s book “Brodsky among us” published by Corpus. Ms Proffer, who, jointly with her husband Karl Proffer, founded Ardis Publishing House in the 70s, took frequent trips to Soviet Russia and was of much assistance to Joseph Brodsky when he immigrated to the US.
