Lection of Mr. A. Wershbow, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA in Russian Federation, “Institutes of civil society and democracy in USA”.

The Lection of Mr. A. Wershbow, read for RSUH students, was dedicated to the problems and achievements of democratic system in USA.In the beginning of his speech the Ambassador pointed out, that RSUH is one of the leaders in promotion of new technologies in education. He also emphasized the importance of intensification of cooperation between RSUH and American universities, and mentioned that even political disagreements could not negatively influence their relationships, because there are stronger international bonds, such as cooperation in the sphere of higher education.Special attention Mr. Wershbow paid to the scales of charity and philanthropy in USA.Also the Ambassador mentioned the importance of having independent mass-media for the establishment of democratic society and told about his fears about infringement of freedom of mass media in our country.

The Lection of Mr. A. Wershbow, read for RSUH students, was dedicated to the problems and achievements of democratic system in USA.

In the beginning of his speech the Ambassador pointed out, that RSUH is one of the leaders in promotion of new technologies in education.
