As a part of the large-scale project “Foreign scientists in RSUH” Skenlen, professor of State University of Ohio (USA) with the lection “Dostoevsky and the individual “I” problem” spoke in RSUH.In his speech the philologist pursued the aim to demonstrate, how Dostoevsky sees the individual “I” problem and human egoism. In Skenlen’s opinion D considered the greatest good to the mankind is killing the own egoistic “I”, it means subjection of will to “love laws”, not to “personality laws”.
