The event took place on December 19, 2019, at a session of the Academic and Expert Council of RSUH.
The winners of the 2019 competitions "Academic teams of RSUH" and "Student teams of RSUH", presented their projects.
Applications for competitions were submitted in November 2018 - January 2019, and projects themselves were carried out until December 2019. The funding provided by RSUH amounted to R2.4 million. The winners were eight research teams, whose leaders presented the results of their work.
Vice-Rector Olga Pavlenko at a meeting of the Council, emphasized that not only the scientific effectiveness of projects, but also the active promotion of research results in the media, social networks and other Internet resources was of particular importance to the university. RSUH will create its own online platform for researchers to present the results of their work, thus expanding the awareness of the achievements in humanities.
All the supported projects have been successfully completed with excellent results. Over 120 papers (including monographs) were published and over 130 reports were presented at conferences.
The projects included developing Internet resources, writing dissertations, defending diplomas, etc.
A number of students participating in the projects have continued their studies in graduate schools, which testifies to the academic continuity.
Given this successful experience, in November 2019 RSUH resumed the contest "Academic teams of RSUH" and "Student teams of RSUH". Applications are accepted until January 20, 2020.
