We invite all students to take part in the competition.
On April 18, on the International Day for Monuments and Sites, the dictation “Moscow Code” will take place on the “Discover Moscow” portal. It will be dedicated to urban cultural heritage sites.
“In the anniversary year for the World Heritage Day, the capital will host its first local history dictation,” said Ms. Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow. - Everyone can test their knowledge of Moscow, and at the same time learn interesting facts about patrons and architects, thanks to whom many famous buildings appeared. There are no age restrictions, so we invite citizens to participate as a family.”
One and a half hours are allotted for the dictation, at any time from 11AM to 10PM. The program includes 40 questions, presented by MSU history and local history teachers. After you answer a question, the correct answer will be shown. All participants will receive appropriate certificates by email.
The organizer is the Department of Cultural Heritage with the support of the Department of Information Technology, the Department of Education and Science, the Moscow Duma and the Public Chamber of Moscow.
