On November 22, 2021, a delegation from the Embassy of Brazil, consisting of Mr. Alvaro Galvani, Cultural Attaché, first secretary of the Embassy and employees of the Department of Culture of Varvara Gerneza, Reis Gelfi, G. Costa Guadanin.
RSUH was represented by Dr. Vera Zabotkina Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Advisor to the Administration for International Affairs and Dr. Olga Trofimova, Chair of the Department of International Relations.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the expansion of cooperation with Brazilian universities; creation of a consortium of five Brazilian universities, RSUH and regional Russian universities; holding cultural events at RSUH in February 2022 in order to acquaint students and faculty with the culture of Brazil and the possibility of creating a Russian-Brazilian educational and academic center at RSUH.
The result was a joint decision to hold an online meeting of representatives of RSUH and five Brazilian universities on December 9, 2021 in order to discuss issues of cooperation and the creation of a consortium.
