Dear faculty and staff members, students and alumni!
I wish you a happy Russia Day! For me, as a historian, this holiday is of particular importance. Thirty years ago, on June 12, the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Russia was adopted proclaiming the primacy of the Russian Constitution and its laws. On that day the countdown of a new history began - the history of the Russian democratic state.
Russia is multinational, but it has inherited centuries-old traditions: many generations of our ancestors fought for their freedom and beliefs, creating a strong and independent state power. This is not just a memorable date, it is a symbol of national unity and collective responsibility for the future of our country, our children and students.
I wish you success in work and study, creative inspiration, implementation of the most daring projects! Happy holiday!
