On October 24, Director of the Department of Youth Affairs Irakli Bolkvadze and representatives of "The Youth of Moscow" opened a series of lectures at the RSUH on the implementation of youth policy among RSUH students.
The series is aimed at the self-realization of youth in our country and educational work with RSUH students. The main areas of the youth policy of RSUH include social assistance, project activities, support for cultural and creative initiatives, sports activities, development of career competencies, future employment, civic education, personal growth and self-realization. Currently, RSUH has 32 student associations and 18 student councils. Our students participate in more than 25 federal programs from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Rosmolodezh, Znanie, as well as the projects “Russia - the Land of Opportunities” and “The Youth of Moscow”. Dr. Bolkvadze emphasized that special attention had been paid in the youth policy of the University to the popularization of sports and a healthy lifestyle among students. RSUH has 17 student teams and 16 sports and health clubs, which comprise an overall 650 students. Also, by the decision of the Rector, since October 7, RSUH sports club has been operating at the University for the implementation of extracurricular sports activities, hosting athletic teams and clubs.
The first invited speaker was the youth project accelerator "The Youth of Moscow". The representatives their leading programs in which the younger generation can realize themselves: project for developing public speaking skills "DeBattle", career development center "VRabote", community of media industry specialists "MediaDvizh", info-security club "CyberMoscow", and others.
Currently, the organization has more than 200 universities and 175 secondary specialized educational institutions of Moscow.
