On January 20, the first meeting of the Alumni Association was held at the Russian State University for the Humanities. A team of like-minded people, the graduates of different faculties and different years met at the University to create the Association.
Rector Bezborodov welcomed and thanked all the graduates, as well as members of the administration. In his address, he spoke highly of the role of the alumni in the life of the University and noted the importance of the “University-alumnus” connection.
At the meeting, the Charter of the Alumni Association was approved and the Council of the Association, the Chairman and Executive Director of the Council elected.
Dr. Yevgeny Primakov, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, a graduate of the Faculty of History and Philology of RSUH (1999), was elected Chairman of the Council of the Alumni Association.
The commemorative photo was a historical moment. The members of the Council of the Alumni Association expressed a common desire to meet more often within the walls of the RSUH, support initiatives and take part in the life of the University.
