Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko visited RSUH
At the meeting, the Aide raised the topic of "trendy professions" that at different times had embodied the spirit of their time. Andrei Fursenko emphasized that regardless of the era, all these professions had one thing in common: they respond to the needs of society and shape the future. He also noted that understanding the historical context of “trendy professions” helps students formulate their own career guidelines.
“The only time when you can try to understand the world as a whole is during your school years and the beginning of your university studies. This will give you a very powerful impetus,” he said.
Andrei Fursenko touched upon important aspects concerning the future of young people in modern society. He emphasized that the younger generation, living in an era of rapid change and information overload, faced new challenges. He exemplified it by the phenomenon of "clip thinking", which manifests itself in the rapid perception of information, fragments of knowledge and superficial analysis. However, he also emphasized that clip thinking could also have positive aspects, contributing to the rapid assimilation of information.
The other topics raised were the history of Soviet science cities in Russia, their support and development in today's realities. Andrei Fursenko noted that the issues faced by science cities required new adaptability and innovative approaches. In the context of globalization and a rapidly changing economy, it is necessary to create new support mechanisms for scientific and research initiatives.
In conclusion, he said that changes in the educational system should be focused not only on training qualified specialists, but also on the formation of civic consciousness and social responsibility among young people, which will ultimately benefit all of Russia.
