On Tuesday, March 24, a session of the Academic Council was held using remote technologies. The Council heard and approved the report of Dr. Vera Zabotkina, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
A number of provisions were approved on various subject and divisions of RSUH: on the organization of PE classes for students of pre-Universitarium, on the Department of the History of Religions, on the Department of the Russian Language, on the Institute of Linguistics, on structural changes at the Vygotsky Institute of Psychology, on online classes, on the current control and midterms.
Dissertation topics were approved. The results of the grant competitions for the development of new educational programs were approved. Among the winners the following programs were listed: Heritage and Cultural Mediation (major Museology and Preservation of Cultural and Natural Federal Heritage Sites), Military History of Russia (major History); Document and Data Management in Digital Public Administration (major Document Management and Archival Studies), Russia and the East in the Era of a Multipolar World (major Oriental and African Studies), Sustainable Development and Management of Talents (major Personnel Management), Ethnopolitics, Interethnic Relations and Migration Policy in Contemporary Russia (major Political Science).
The list of online courses that will be created by the RSUH project teams in 2020 has been announced: “Algebraic methods in computer science”, “Archival studies”, “History of modern Russia”, “Fundamentals of integrated communications”, “HR management”.
The academic title of Professor of Journalism was awarded to Dr. Evgenia Basovskaya. Dr. Pavel Lebedev was promoted to Assistant Professor in General History, and Dr. Vasilisa Orestova was promoted to Assistant Professor in General Psychology.
Also, a letter of thanks from President Putin addressed to Rector Bezborodov was read out. It contained appreciation for the active participation of Rector in the preparation and conduct of elections in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In turn, Rector Bezborodov thanked the representatives of the Presidential Administration for their support in working on many projects and expressed confidence that constructive cooperation would continue.
