Russian-Swiss Center

The Russian-Swiss Center of RSUH was established in 2000 on the basis of the “Agreement of Cooperation between the Russian State University for the Humanities and the Interfaculty Institute for Central and Eastern Europe at the University of Freiburg (Switzerland).” The Center majors students of the Faculty of International Relations and Foreign Regional Studies (tracks: history, geography, culture, economics and politics of Switzerland).

The Center annually hosts international conferences related to the history, culture and theology of Switzerland. It holds regular meetings with Swiss writers, timed to coincide with book fairs in Moscow and Krasnoyarsk. The Center enjoys an active cooperation with the Swiss Embassy in Moscow and the Pro Helvetia Cultural Foundation.
