RSUH students participated Hindi Divas at the Embassy of India in Moscow

RSUH Hindi group students of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) Sofia Kiseleva, Ekaterina Moskalenko, Daniela Todoroshchan, Maria Skorobogatova, Victor Toropov, Alina Fasakhova and Amina Mukhametkhanova participated the festival devoted to Hindi Divas, held in Moscow, Russia at the DP Dhar Hall, Embassy of India to Russia.

HE Mr B. Venkatesh Varma, Ambassador of India to Russia inaugurated the opening ceremony. The organizers of the Hindi Divas festival:

Ms Mahima Sikand, Director of the Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre (JNCC),

Dr. Kashmir Singh, president of the Hindustani Samaj Association,

Dr Rameshwar Singh, Russian-Indian Friendship Society (DISHA),

Mr Sushil Kumar Azad Hindi teacher of Kendriya Vidyalay school and others.

This is a very significant annual event for those who study Hindi language.

Students of the three Moscow Universities showed their ability to Hindi language proficiency.

The students of the Institute of the Asian and African Studies (IAAS) Moscow State University presented some poems on Hindi.

The students of the Moscow University of the international relations presented a play.

Dr Rameshwar Singh, President of DISHA Russian-Indian Friendship Society presented the new edition of the DISHA magazine and gave award to Prof. Klara Drukova, Hindi teacher of MGIMO, Dr. Alexander Senkevich and Mr Sushil Kumar Azad Hindi teacher of Kendriya Vidyalay school.
