RSUH Hindi group 1 year students – Alena Plotnikova, Anna Kuznetsova, Aleksandra Korzenevskaya, Kartikay Parmar, Harsh Dhankhar, Mansi Bisht, Sakhi Aggrawal were a support group for Daljit Singh, Rishabh Sharma and Inderjit Singh, Indians students who are studying Russian, Translation studies, Tourism and hospitality at the Russian State University for Humanities
Daljit Singh, Rishabh Sharma and Inderjit Singh sang a Hindi song Akkar Bakkar Bombey ho! Indian girls presented a fun modern Indian dance. All Russian students welcomed Indian students, clapped loudly and emotionally supported them!
From 12:00 to 14:00 - the was a tasting of national dishes!
The organizers of Indian cuisine were: AMRIT - Indian cultural center (Tarusa city) and "Devi Café" - Indian restaurant. Russian students tasted Indian pies "pakora" and "samosa".
The meeting was inaugurated by Prof. Alexander Bezborodov, Rector of RSUH who stressed the high importance of culture and tolerance in society and said that the goals of this event is to create a tolerant consciousness among students and conditions for respectful attitude to different national traditions and cultures.
Students of 17 countries - Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, America, Armenia, Georgia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, India, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ossetia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Chechnya, India, Belarus, China, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Germany showed their guests and participants the presentations of their countries, showed the features of the national costume, told about the cultural traditions, and prepared dishes of national cuisine.
At the end of the meeting Rector of RSUH prof. Alexander Bezborodov, awarded the winners by Certificate of merit.
