Russian State University for Humanities’s students and teachers visited AMITY University Haryana Gurgaon

Russian State University for Humanities’s students and teachers visited AMITY University Haryana Gurgaon, which is the largest private university in India and has its branches not only in India but also in other countries.

The meeting with Russian students and teachers was organized by Mr Subhash Kumar, Mr. Padmesh Padmakar and Mr Sudarshan Raja, teachers of Russian language and Prof. Ashok Tiku, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and member of the Center for the BRICS.

The Russian delegation met with Hon'ble VC Prof. (Dr.) P. B. Sharma, Hon'ble Pro-VC, Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, Prof. Vikash Madhukar, Director of the Business School.

During the visit RSUH teachers A.A.Stolyarov and I.A.Gazieva presented their paper about RSUH and cross-cultural nuances of Hindi and Russian language learning in multicultural environment.
Vera Lebedeva, 3rd year student presented the report "BRICS studies at RSUH".

Teachers of the Russian language Mr Subhash Kumar and Mr Padmesh Padmakar and Sudarshan Raja organized a cultural program where Indian students sang Russian songs and Russian students sang Hindi songs.

Russian delegation estimates the high professional level of knowledge of Russian language among the Indian students who freely talked and sang songs of Russian poets.

We appreciate especially Mr Subhash Kumar, Assistant Professor of Russian language, for organizing the visit.
