Russian State University for the Humanities

India Republic was represented at the Day of Peoples' Friendship at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH).

Indian students Rishabh Sharma and Daljit Singh presented Indian modern culture to Russian students at the concert devoted to this amazing event.

Victoria Bazyleva, 3d year student who is learning Hindi helped Rishabh and Daljit to show the film about India and Bollywood songs. The song “High Heels feat. Jaz Dhami” was sung by Rishabh, Daljit and Victoria. The song was about girls, who love high heels. Russian students liked that song and came on the floor to dance.

That was the second time when Indian students participate in Day of Peoples ‘Friendship at RSUH. Last year Daljit Singh was a 2d year student and sang song “Mera joota hai Japani”.But he was not alone. Russian students sang this song together.

The Indian food for tasting was provided by Mr Satish Malik, President of “AMRIT” Indian Cultural Centre (Tarusa city, Kaluga region).

We are highly appreciated for Satish Malik and his kind cooperation with RSUH Indian students who could present India as their homeland and show Russians that they can be proud that they are Indians
